Who Is the Spiritual Eclectic?

If you’d like to read my most recent articles at The Spiritual Eclectic blog, you can find them here.

Thanks for clicking the URL in my profile – here’s a little background on who I am and what I do.

My name is Lorna Tedder and I’m both prolific and diverse when it comes to what I write and teach–but that’s part of my life’s purpose: to celebrate being different and share my experiences with others.  I’m best known as The Spiritual Eclectic, the originator of Spilled Candy Books,  and a multi-published author of some rather obscure spiritual material as well as women’s action-adventure and suspense thrillers.

I’m a 40-something mom to two amazing daughters, a procurement analyst for the US Department of Defense, a novelist, blogger, change agent, life coach, writer, visionary, teacher, spiritual leader, adventurer, and revolutionary at heart.  So far!  (There’s no telling what I’ll add to that list next week.)

I’ve been almost daily blogging since January 2005, starting with the Supergirl@40 blog, which was a healing journal following my divorce and chronicled my starting-over process and epiphanies.  In January 2008, I began shifting to article and essay writing (yes, I know:  essay is considered a bad word) for The Spiritual Eclectic, the blog representing the Spilled Candy publishing company.  I am currently splintering my posts into several niche topic blogs which will be announced soon.

This blog covers everything from:

My Novels

I’ve written more books than I can count.  The reason I cannot count them is because I have repackaged them in so many different ways in order to market them to different audiences that I’m no longer certain what I started with!  If you’re looking for my favorite suspense novels, I recommend

Dark Revelations – A thief unknowingly steals the ultimate weapon.

  1. Dear Lorna,

Just ran into your sight! Love it. Im a 0 Leo, Aries rising and Scorpio moon. I live in S Cal where it will rise at 1 scorpio.

Though I know it illuminates my Leo sun, Mercury, Par fortune and pluto….what I’m interested in is if and HOW it affects my trined vertex in Libra exactamente in my 6/7 house at 7degrees?

Thanks for any feedback and keep up the good work!

  2. Lorna:

  3. I just stumbled across your blog and have been going through and reading back posts.(for about an hour or so.) I am 20 years young and have been looking for something, anything to connect to. And your blog got through to my brain. So thank you so much for that. Words fall short because I cannot explain what that means for me.

  4. Hi Lorna,
I stumbled upon your website ( i was originally looking for information regarding the beautiful strawberry moon in the sky tonight) and as I have been reading, your articles were exactly what I needed to calm my heart. Thank you very much, and I wish you all the best!

    • Thanks bunches! I’m glad they were helpful. Check out my other websites in the margin because I’m about to unleash about 3000 articles similar to what you’re reading here, ones from my private journals over the past few years.

      You made my day!
