Whoa, wait a minute. How did THAT happen?
If you’re trying to attract back a special someone, what if that special someone doesn’t exist in that form any longer? What if they’ve changed into something that you don’t know the exact dimensions of?
Though I have worked with physicists and rocket scientists for 20 years, I’m not a scientist myself…but I do love to experiment when it comes to spiritual and metaphysical ideas. I also document these (among other things) in my Third Degree Diary books and share my insights.
In a recent experiment, I focused on attracting back someone for a conversation. That’s it–just a nice, joyful conversation after many years apart. We had lost touch and I had no idea how to reach him, so he was a good candidate for the experiment. No ethical dilemmas here–we’d parted on good terms and enjoyed each other’s company on a professional and personal basis, so the ethical ramifications of using the Law of Attraction were the same as the ethical ramifications of picking up the phone and calling him…if I’d had his number.
The result was that I did not attract back a direct conversation WITH him but I was definitely attracting back a lot of elements of the person I had known as well as sudden news about him. The result was a Scatter Effect of that energy boom-er-ranging back at me to bring me my desires.
I’ll disguise this example so I don’t give away anyone’s secrets:
Let’s say…the man I was trying to attract back into my life for a nice, joyful conversation is a former colleague and friend. Let’s say he was 6 ft tall and 200 pounds of muscle when last I saw him. Let’s say he was my team’s legal counsel on several Defense Department jobs, particularly dealing with property brought back from Afghanistan illegally. Let’s say he was a Scorpio 3 years younger than I am. Let’s say…his name was Christian Bale. (Hey, I said I was disguising the facts, okay?)
After attuning to such wonderful memories of this person and conversations with him, I focused on bringing him back for a conversation. That’s it: manifesting contact and conversation. Focusing, intending, believing, allowing the person I remembered to come back to me. Bzzzzzzzzztt!
The next thing I knew, I was seeing lots of “elements” of my intended desire all around me, to the point of being hilarious. Here’s what I mean:
The next four guys to ask me out, after some sudden and wonderful conversation, are 3 years younger than I am, 6 feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, muscular, and are Scorpios–one with the exact birthday as Christian. Several bear a strong resemblence to him physically, but instead of me pursuing men who looked like Christian, they found and pursued me. One of the men is named Chris. One has just returned from Afghanistan. Two are lawyers. One’s last name is Bell.
I hear from three people who used to be on the team with Christian and me. They all ask if I’ve heard from Christian recently. I also hear from another colleague who reminded me of Christian, personality-wise, and we also have a great conversation.
The next two men who ask me for a date are lawyers named Chris and Christian. Both are close to his age and height. One is a defense attorney working on cases of theft of property from Afghanistan. The other is a public defender who used to work for a team similar to mine.
I had wonderful, nice, joyful conversations with all these men who possessed elements of the person I was trying to attract for a conversation. Yet, the exact specifications–in total–of the person I was trying to attract back to me for a long and fun talk didn’t bring him into my world. Not exactly.
Two of the former team members had news for me (out of the blue) on my long-lost “Christian Bale.” He’d run into a bad situation that had cost him his law career–and was no longer the attorney I knew. He’d spent the past several years in deep depression–not the joyful man I remembered–and had lost his fine muscle mass and bulk. In short, the man he is now if very different from the one I remembered and was trying to attract back.
The result of my Law of Attraction experiment? Think of me as a huge magnet attracting certain elements of a certain person to me, but those elements no longer exist in that person so the elements are drawn to me from any other source within range. They splat-splat-splat all around me. None are the specific person I was looking for, but certain elements of all those people drawn to me are most definitely what I was looking for. I got the great conversations I wanted–with the closest men to the specifications I’d asked for.
